Blatant lies
Passed off as truth
Gloss and glamour
And bright spot light
Hiding blemish and scar
While I peer at life
Masked reality!
Not really wanting
To face the truth
The face I see
Ugly, scary, could be!
I close my eyes
And let it pass
For how long
Just can’t keep pretending
Must face the truth
Strip away the mask
And look at life
Discard all excuse
Open my eyes
It may be ugly
Truth may be a lie
But I must know
I must see
With eyes wide open
Truth I must seek
Mask shorn
Close
Some people wear mask, Not every one.

Hi pBs,

Pretence is evil . Truth finding is hard...but, better than being under masquerades!

Vinod
Truth when you seek its mask shorn
Truth ceases to be truth mask torn!
Truth is a lie and that's all
We need to know for all!
